The most awaited movie release of Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama, which was originally scheduled for release on October 18, 2024, will now release in theaters on January 24, 2025.
India and Japan worked together to produce this film. It creates a distinctive cinematic experience by skillfully fusing animation styles from both countries.

Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama was first released in 1993. The animated film will release in beautiful 4K resolution and in four languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and English.

Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama is a 135-minute, aesthetically spectacular adaptation of the epic Ramayana.
The movie focuses on the time after Lord Ram, Sita, and Lakshman are banished to the wilderness.
The story includes crucial moments, such as Lord Ram forming an alliance with Hanuman, the final conflict between Lord Ram and Ravana, and Ravana kidnapping Goddess Sita.
Koichi Sasaki, Ram Mohan, and Yugo Sako are the film’s directors. Vanraj Bhatia is the composer of its melancholic tunes.
The film premiered at the 24th International Film Festival of India in 1993 and later screened at the Vancouver International Film Festival.
However, it wasn’t until 1997 that it hit the big screens.After children’s television channels aired it and DVD released it, Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama became well-known.
