Boxer and former UFC champion Conor McGregor is accused of trying to rape a woman in a VIP restroom at an NBA game.
The allegation gained attention after a Wall Street employee filed a civil lawsuit alleging that a 36-year-old fighter had raped a 49-year-old woman in a Kasaya Cente VIP restroom.
The lawsuit claims that McGregor escorted the plaintiff to a VIP men’s bathroom, where he, allegedly intoxicated and “out of control,” tried to force her into a sexual act against her will.
According to the report, the incident happened in June 2023 following the Miami Heat vs. Denver Nuggets NBA Finals game.

The victim reported the incident to the Miami Police, but the Florida state attorney’s office chose not to pursue any criminal charges.
The victim’s attorney, Jim Dunn, stated that she filed the civil lawsuit to raise awareness about sexual assault and encourage others to come forward, despite the potential risks it could pose to her career, as reported by The Sun.
In a recent civil case brought in Ireland, McGregor was judged accountable for a sexual assault that occurred in 2018. During the trial, McGregor testified that he had intercourse with Hand during the aforementioned event in late 2018, but he claimed it was consensual and that he intended to appeal the decision.
