The woman has withdrawn her civil lawsuit against Jay-Z and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, alleging that they raped her at the age of 13.
The anonymous woman added Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, to a complaint she had already filed in Manhattan federal court against Sean “Diddy” Combs in December. After Combs’ limo driver offered to bring her to an MTV Video Music Awards afterparty in 2000, she claimed that both men attacked her.
The lawyer representing Jane Doe has dismissed the lawsuit against Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs, which alleged the rape of a 13-year-old girl at a party in 2000, according to court filings.
Combs remains detained in New York while awaiting a criminal trial on federal sex trafficking accusations. Since his arrest in September on allegations of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy, Diddy has been detained in a federal penitentiary in Brooklyn. Additionally, lawyer Tony Buzbee has brought multiple sexual assault claims against him.
