Movie Sikandar’s advance sales of ticket crosses over 40,000

Advance bookings for Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna’s Eid release, Sikandar, have been strong, with over 40,000 tickets sold in just hours.

The Hindi 2D version of Sikandar alone has earned Rs 1.13 crore in ticket sales, while the film’s total ticket sales, including block bookings, have surpassed Rs 5 crore. These sales are spread across 7,952 scheduled shows throughout India.

Delhi has sold 21.84 lakh tickets, followed by Rajasthan with 13.33 lakh and Maharashtra with 20.39 lakh, according to trade tracker Sacnilk. However, with only 1,150 tickets sold thus far, Himachal Pradesh has had the lowest sales. Distributors are hopeful that the movie would make about Rs 50 crore on its first weekend, despite a sluggish start in some areas.

During the Eid holiday, Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna will star in the action-packed movie Shikandar. Salman Khan is expected to play a powerful role in the film, likely showcasing his signature action-packed scenes and dramatic performances, though the filmmakers are keeping the full plot details secret.

The narrative centers on Sikandar, the main character, who struggles for power, loyalty, and survival. Salman Khan voiced confidence in the film’s success, saying it will surpass the Rs 100 crore mark, at the trailer’s recent, much anticipated release. The film will benefit from its release during Eid, a prime time for blockbusters. Furthermore, March 30 is a memorable day for many people because it also falls on Gudi Padwa and Ugadi.
