This idea came from seeing how hard it is for elderly or small farmers to remove weeds by hand.

One of the creators said this robot helps people avoid the danger of chemicals and makes farming easier. Farmers pay a small fee to use the robot, so it stays affordable. And because it does not use sprays, crops can be sold in markets that do not allow chemical use.

There are also bigger robots being tested by companies like Aigen. Their machine, called Element gen2, uses solar power to run. It can weed large fields automatically. It uses cameras and AI to follow crop rows and spot weeds. The company says it can work for whole days and cover 20 acres without human help.

Aigen’s co-founder explained that the robot helps reduce health risks and saves money for farmers. It runs on the sun, not diesel, making it cleaner for the environment. Experts say these robots are like farm workers who never get tired and don’t need rest.
