Barcelona Scores 7 goals against Fc Seoul in Club Friendly

FC Barcelona continued their 2025 preseason tour in South Korea with a thrilling 7–3 victory over FC Seoul at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on July 31. Under the leadership of coach Hansi Flick, the Catalan giants displayed dazzling attacking football, mixing youth talent with tactical precision as they outscored the Korean side convincingly.

First Half: Yamal and Lewandowski Put Barça Ahead

Barcelona started the match strongly. In just the 8th minute, Robert Lewandowski opened the scoring with a tap-in after a Lamine Yamal shot hit the post and rebounded to him. Only six minutes later, Yamal himself sent a brilliant finish into the corner to make it 2–0.

FC Seoul fought back, with Young-Wook Cho scoring in the 26th minute and Yazan Al-Arab equalizing just before half-time. However, Yamal struck again seconds before the break to restore the lead to Barcelona. His brace showed maturity and vision especially as he had just received the symbolic No. 10 shirt.

Second Half: Substitutes Carry Forward Barcelona’s Dominance Performance

Flick used all eleven substitutions at half-time to give playing time to squad members and rising talents like Gavi and Ferran Torres. The impact was instant. Andreas Christensen unleashed a long-range rocket in the 55th minute, making it 2–4. Five minutes later, Ferran Torres capitalized on a lapse in defense and finished calmly to extend the lead. In the 76th, Gavi spun away from his marker and slotted home Barcelona’s sixth with ease.

While Seoul pulled a goal back late through Jung Han-Min, Ferran Torres sealed the win with a second goal just before full time, finishing off a well-executed move from substitute Marcus Rashford.

Seoul Scores 3 Goals But Under Pressure of Barcelona

Lamine Yamal stood out not only for his goals but also for his difficult dribble that sparked Barcelona’s attacking rhythm. The 18-year-old’s performance in the No. 10 jersey delighted fans and showed why many see him as a future superstar. Reacting after the match, Yamal described scoring in that shirt as a childhood dream come true.

FC Seoul, captained by former Manchester United star Jesse Lingard, showed spirit despite the loss. Lingard played the full second half and, after the match, exchanged shirts with Yamal a sign of respect between professionals. Seoul’s goals came from three different players who capitalized on moments when Barça’s high defensive line showed vulnerability.

Barcelona is Fire on Preseason Games

This match marks Barcelona’s second win on their Asian tour, following their victory over Vissel Kobe. It underlines the depth of the squad, with first-team starters combining with substitutes to maintain a high tempo across both halves. Despite defensive flaws especially in tracking runs and staying onside Flick will take confidence from his forwards’ fluidity and creativity.

The roster featured a mix of seasoned players like Lewandowski, Raphinha, and De Jong in the first half, while the second half demonstrated the club’s future, including Gavi, Christensen, and Rashford who is still adapting on loan.
