More than 5,000 police officers will join this new force. They are being trained at a special police training school in Farooqabad. So far, 3,000 officers have finished their training. The rest will be trained soon. These officers have learned how to manage large crowds, stop violence without hurting anyone, and talk to people to calm them down.

The training is not just local. Trainers from countries like Turkey, the USA, and European nations taught the officers new methods. They showed the officers how to speak calmly to people, stay patient, and avoid using violence. The officers learned these modern techniques directly from international experts to help them manage crowds in a peaceful and respectful way.

New riot management police force to be deployed across major cities in Punjab

This new police force will be active in big cities like Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Rawalpindi, and Sargodha. Later, it will be expanded to other towns as well. These cities often host large events, protests, or religious gatherings, where crowd control becomes difficult. Before this, no team had special training to handle these kinds of events. Now, the Riot Management Police Force will step in to manage such situations safely and wisely. Officers will be ready to step in if a peaceful protest turns violent or if people are in danger during big public events.
