On December 28, 2024, Gypsy Rose Blanchard and her fiancé, Ken Urker, welcomed their daughter, Aurora.
Gypsy-Rose Blanchard is a convicted killer who most likely suffers from Munchausen syndrome by proxy. She recruited her ex-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn to murder her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard.
Despite Gypsy-Rose’s excellent health, Dee Dee had everyone convinced from an early age that her daughter had leukemia and other ailments.
Gypsy-Rose, who was 24 at the time, assisted Godejohn in breaking into her Missouri home and fatally stabbing her mother in June 2015.
Gypsy-Rose was freed in December 2023 after serving more than eight years in jail for second-degree murder and is currently residing in Louisiana.
Gypsy Rose Welcomes Her First Baby
Gypsy Rose Blanchard, once imprisoned in Missouri for her mother’s death, seems to embrace motherhood in an Instagram picture shared by her lover, Ken Urker.
Urker said, “Welcoming 2025 with the greatest gift of all,” as the caption for the picture, which included him, Blanchard, and their newborn kid in a hospital ward.
In the picture, Blanchard and Urker are holding their child while she lies in a hospital bed. The infant, sporting a pink hat, is the object of the two parents’ affectionate gazes.
Moreover, PEOPLE reports that they gave the infant the name Aurora Raina Urker. Urker came up with the name, she told the media outlet last year.
In July, Blanchard made her pregnancy public by posting a collage of images of herself with Urker and holding an ultrasound scan on Instagram.
Blanchard wrote in the caption, “We are proud to announce we are expecting our first child in January 2025💗.”

Gypsy Rose Took a Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity Test
On November 5, 2024, Gypsy-Rose Blanchard posted the results of her Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity (NIPP) test on Instagram, confirming the paternity of her unborn child.
This follows reports that, despite their split earlier this year, her former spouse, Ryan Anderson, may be the father.
With a court-admissible DNA report from DDC, Blanchard, who gained notoriety for her role in her abusive mother’s death, disclosed in her post that Ken Urker is the father.
Blanchard posted on Instagram on Tuesday, November 5th, saying, “There’s been a lot of chatter around the paternity of our baby, and while we’ve known for sure from the beginning, I feel that it’s finally time to put all these theories to rest.”
“The results indicate that Ken is the father. We are thrilled to bring our baby girl into the world, and Ken is going to be an amazing father. Thank you, @fastestlabsofmetairie @kenurker.
If their divorce had not been finalized before the child was born, Anderson’s name might have been listed on the birth certificate before the paternity test determined the biological father.
