Trump Warns of Russia’s Collapse if Ukraine Invasion Continues
U.S. President Donald Trump has condemned Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. He accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of launching the war with the aim of absorbing the entire country of Ukraine, warning that if such a plan continues, it will lead to Russia’s downfall.

Recent reports say that Russia’s latest attack on Ukraine killed 30 people in a single day, including journalists.
In response to what is being described as the most intense attack so far, Trump wrote on his Truth Social account:
“I’ve always said Putin doesn’t just want a piece of Ukraine—he wants the whole thing. That may now be proving true. But if he really wants that, it will result in the collapse of Russia.”
Donald Trump recently expressed strong criticism of Russian President Vladimir Putin, calling him “absolutely crazy” for escalating attacks on Ukraine. In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated that while he had always maintained a good relationship with Putin, something had changed, leading the Russian leader to “needlessly kill a lot of people”. He specifically condemned the missile and drone strikes on Ukrainian cities, emphasizing that civilians were being targeted without justification.
Trump warned that Putin’s ambitions to take control of all of Ukraine could ultimately lead to Russia’s downfall. He also indicated that he was considering increasing U.S. sanctions on Russia in response to the violence. Meanwhile, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov dismissed Trump’s remarks as an “emotional overload
Trump also warned that more sanctions would be imposed if Russia does not stop its invasion of Ukraine.
At the same time, Trump criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, saying his remarks are not in the best interest of his country.
Trump wrote:
“The way Zelenskyy speaks does not benefit his country. Everything that comes out of his mouth creates problems. I don’t like it. It would be better if it stopped.”
After Russia’s latest attack on Ukraine, Zelenskyy accused the U.S. of encouraging Russia’s aggression by remaining silent.
