United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced that Pakistani applicants can now apply for five‑year multi‑entry tourist visas. This means once approved, a Pakistani citizen can enter and exit the UAE multiple times over five years, without needing a local sponsor or guarantor.
For many years, the UAE has been one of the top destinations for Pakistani workers, tourists, and families. With this visa, Pakistanis can visit the UAE more freely, whether for tourism, family visits, or business trips. This move also shows stronger relations and growing trust between Pakistan and the UAE.
Many Pakistanis Faced Visa Problems Earlier in 2025
In the earlier part of 2025, many Pakistani citizens reported facing difficulties while trying to get visas for the UAE. Although there was no official ban, several reports showed that a large number of visit visa applications were being rejected, especially for young men between the ages of 18 to 45.

Some of the reasons behind these rejections included false job offers, fake documents, misuse of social media, and people overstaying their visas in the past. Due to these issues, the UAE authorities started checking documents more carefully.
Authorities rejected many applicants despite their genuine reasons to travel. The decision confused and disappointed families eager to visit loved ones and individuals planning tourism trips. However, now with the new visa policy, things are changing in a positive direction.
What Do People and Community Voices Say About the Visa Situation?
Many people took to social media platforms like Reddit and Facebook to talk about their visa experiences. Some said they faced long delays without any clear reason, while others shared that even after submitting complete and genuine documents, their applications were still refused. A few users also noted that people who used travel agents or applied through unofficial ways were more likely to face rejection.
Many Pakistanis online shared their experiences:
“Honestly… we have been subjected to massive delays and rejection… We Pakistani need to behave at least in the countries we have easy access…”
Officially there’s no ban obviously but 95 % of the applications are being rejected
